Back From Bloodstock.

Tired three and a half days helping out and partying at the Bloodstock open air festival, we had to do a little bit more work due to some staff not turning up. For this our passes were upgraded to included the access to backstage area. The access to the backstage was a blessing because its not only on friday most of the toilets in and around the arena were full, the backstage had real high class portaloos with pictures on the walls and flowers in the ladies. Its not only us who make the mistake on the number of toilets and the change pumping out of them. May I add we have resolved the issue for this year.
Thursday night we got to watch Firewind a band I hadn't hear of before but will now be looking them up they sounded great, Testament finished the night off on the mainstage.
Then it was in to the Lava stage where Beholder were playing never seen this band before but recomend that you go see them these guys know how to party, the atmosphere in the tent was one of the best I've experienced with the band playing covers from Thin Lizzy,Metallica,Soil,Drowning Pool and Grease.
Friday morning 4 o'clock came and after a few after show drinks we got a couple of hours sleep then back to work checking passes etc. Lacuna Coil headlined the mainstage then it was in to the Lava tent to watch the Extremme Karioke and a few more beers.
Saturday came and things were settling down all the bands were on site all the campers and day tickets manged to catch a bit of Beyond All Reasons set, saw most of Sabbats set manged to watch a couple of bands in the unsigned stage as well.
In Flames finished it all of then it was round to the Lava tent to finish off the beer in the bar.
