Icy Ale Report

Friday turned out to be a quiet reasonable day, Crocket was running slightly late so I waited for him to get to Derby then we set off to the Icy Ale rally in to the wilds of Linclonshire(or the dity duck caravan park). Arrived at the site about quarter past two, Ooo$it and Steve had already arrived and were nearly set up. It was then a case of pitch tent and go to the pub. Waiting now for the rest of the posse to arrive Wrecker, Toots and Andy turned up and Fish arrived after he finished work. So began a night of pub nuggets banter and by midnight "monty pythons the life of brian" had worked its way into the conversation. I think it was about ! ish when we were asked to leave the pub.

Saturday morning I surface by ten went to the pub had a breakfast and seeing as it was raining thats roughly where we all stayed for the day until closing time, with the odd game of pool and the video jukebox adding to the entertainment.

A wet John and Lel joined us in the saturday afternoon and soon settled into the chilled out atmosphere.

Sunday everyone was up and packed by 11 so it was a short ride to the local greasy spoon cafe for a fat dog breakfast, this was essential for us all to make our jouneys back home.

Thanks to all who attended for a great chill out weekend.

Icy Ale Rally Next Weekend

Just a quick blog before I nip to Lumb Farm for our weekly meeting of great minds.
Icy Ale Rally next weekend 16 ribcrackers and friends going this year by far the largest turn out we've had going to a winter rally, don't get this many going to some of the summer rallys maybe things are on the up or the attraction of the cold weather makes it more of a challange.

Don't forget your hot water bottles.

Watch out for soap box derby details.
