Bikes Go Free Rideout

The reason for this rideout demo in to the center of London is because the Government has decided that theres not going to be a national road pricing scheme this was good news the bad news is that they've handed the decision over to local goverment to decide on wither they want to do a road pricing scheme.
So on Saturday October 20th it was an early get up I waited for Fish to get his bike started then off down the M1 for a quick stop at Wrecker and Corals place in Luton where it was bacon butties and Danish pastries(for Fish). After being well fed it was off in to London the rideout was setting off from Wembley stadiums carpark.
The rideout set off on time at 13:00 with a police escort into the center of London at the Cenotaph on Whitehall where the ride finished there were some speeches from Riders connect and MPs.
The turnout for the ride was good some people may have been put off by the£5 charge to go on the ride, half the charge was to pay for the rideout half went to charity. A small price to pay to try and stop something that could cost us bikers more than a fiver.

A Good Time Had By All.

Ribcrackers would like to thank everyone who turn up to to Run to the Sun 07, having had several behind the scenes hick ups in the weeks before it was alright on the night as they say.

Friday saw the setting up of the field completted and the first few people were turning up on site. Evening came Exhibit A kicked things off this was followed by an air band jam session then the yard of ale competion which was won by the Lady. Nuclear Minogue then delivered a set of their best covers in their own style and into early saturday morning Rock master Endo entertained the crowds.

Saturday morning up early for the Ribcrackers tidying up to do and on the gate to wait for more ralliers to turn up Bikeshow in the afternoon and silly games.

Rollin Thunder kicked off the saturday night entertainment with some of their own penned songs and a couple of cover songs chucked in, then it was the Miss Run to the Sun pagent in all its glory.

The crowd were then moved back for a fire show then V8 took the stage and were joined by the ribcrackers dancing girls.

Endo played his tunes into the early hours.

See you at the Wild West Style Run to the Sun 2008.
